One of the most important steps in learning is to be able to reflect on previous learning experiences.   It is well documented that the learning processes associated with improving workplace performance are not necessarily only those obtained from formal qualifications.  Improved workplace performance is impacted by formal learning in conjunction with a range of other valuable learning experiences.
